Getting more people out on bikes, more often

Bicycle Longmont is the area's non-profit [501(c)3] bicycle advocacy organization, based in Longmont Colorado.  We serve riders in Boulder, Weld, and Larimer counties. We encourage more people to ride bikes more often. We advocate for better cycling facilities and educate riders on how to safely operate their bicycles.

Bicycle Longmont works with the local school district as well as League of American Bicyclists (LAB) instructors to help people become more confident riders.

Programs include support of Safe Routes to School, Bike Rodeos, and on bike training rides for riders of all ages and abilities.

Bicycle Longmont is a membership organization that regularly schedules programs and events to bring riders together.  G'Knight Ride is our biggest single event.

Additional rides and events include three weekly evening cruiser rides, Bike to Work Day, Bike Film Fests, Christmas Parade ride, and other events and rides.

You can find Bicycle Longmont volunteers at many Longmont area events providing free bike valet service to encourage riders to ride, rather than drive, to events.  We are at the Boulder County Farmers' Market each Saturday through the summer.

The KIDS HOLIDAY BIKE PROGRAM is our biggest event outside of G'Knight Ride.   Working with the YMCA and a team of dedicated volunteer elves, we fix up and distribute hundreds of bikes each December for kids in need.

Bicycle Longmont works closely with the City of Longmont, Boulder County, the St Vrain School District,  and other regional partners, advocating for bicycle infrastructure and inclusion.

Projects and work include inclusion on the Transportation Advisory Board, establishment and management of the Traffic Safety Fund, and installation of bike repair stations across the City.

Take Part!

Bicycle Longmont is a completely volunteer run organization, and participation by everyone is encouraged.  Check out the website, or email us at info@bicyclelongmont.org to learn more.
